This means that a process lasting a number of years is nearing its completion. The introduction of this new regulation will mean that seven existing directives and decisions will be made unnecessary. The new regulation will become applicable one year after publication. The Ministry of Agriculture has approved the Animal Feed Road Transport Hygiene Code. The guide is also known as the Hygiene Code. By applying the Code, animal feed companies comply under the Animal Feed Hygiene Regulation (Reg. (EC) no. 183/2005) with the law.
