	CVB more active abroad CVB is going to present itself abroad more emphatically as an interesting knowledge partner by using a website and information material in English about the nutritional aspects of feed. The CVB is also going to differentiate its information more to specific links and target groups. This means even more ease of use and specifically-directed knowledge. Read more…
	Databases research is followed up The survey carried out this spring by the Product Board Animal Feed into the functioning of the Database of Undesirable Substances and Products (DOS) and the Database of Feed Materials Risk Assessments (DRV) will be followed up. The results of the survey were very positive. The recommendations in the research reports will be incorporated into the updated project plan 2008-2010. Read more…
	Its all about grain Failed crops in combination with an increasing consumption of animal products, the growing demand for feed raw materials in the world and the increasing production of biofuel, especially in the US, has caused the price of grain to rise sharply this year. 	GMP⁺-certified fishmeal from the Faroes Everything in the Faroe Islands is focused on fish processing and there is therefore also a fishmeal industry. The island group lies between Norway and Iceland, is rocky and is not a member of the European Union. Auditor Edwin van Bussel who is associated with the Co-ordinating Office for Animal Feed Certification and Monitoring (BCD) of the Product Board Animal Feed carried out a two-day inspection because the fishmeal industry is also GMP⁺-certified.
