The current version of the GMP+ standard B8 was adopted in the Spring of 2008 as a replacement for the 2005 version. At the time of adoption, the date until which the 2005 version could still be used was omitted. Both versions are currently still being used. The Central College of Experts for the Feed Sector has recently decided that the GMP+ standard B8 (version 2005) will be withdrawn per 1 January 2011. After this date, auditing will only take place for the GMP+ standard B8 (version 2008).
Companies and CBs with an interest in this will therefore have sufficient time to implement any changes.
