GMP+ Appendix 10 ‘Minimum Purchasing Requirements’ amended

Intended for GMP+ certified producers and traders and certification bodies

The Central College of Experts for the Feed Sector has recently decided to make a number of amendments to GMP+ Appendix 10 ‘Minimum Purchasing Requirements’. A new version has been published today in which all the changes have been made.

The amendments in Appendix 10 are as follows:

  • The period of validity of the so-called Grains Protocol (included in Appendix 4) has been extended by 1 year. The protocol can now still be used until 1 July 2010. A newsletter about this appeared recently which you can find here.
  • In its most recent meeting the College also decided to make a change to the so-called Palm Oil Protocol (included in Appendix 6). The specified minimum analysis frequencies during the purchasing of palm oil products have been amended.
  • The opportunity has also been taken to make a few editorial changes.

(P.S. Previous versions of the standard documents you find here.)
