In addition to some general changes, the term ‘temporary acceptance' has been added for new GMP+ companies.

GMP⁺ C2
The document has been drastically simplified and some general changes were implemented. In addition, adjustments were implemented allowing the Product Board Animal Feed to better execute its supervisory tasks.

GMP⁺ C3
This document now includes the audit duration times applicable as of 1 January 2009. The table with audit duration times was extended to include times and conditions for the new GMP⁺ B3.2 standard. In the last column, the tables with the audit times now include any comments applicable to the audit duration times as indicated.  A separate multi-site certification option (option 2) is included in the new GMP⁺ B3.2 standard.

The term ‘temporary acceptance' was added. Certification bodies were offered the opportunity to issue a 3 month certificate to new GMP⁺ companies after a positive result of the document inspection. In order to bridge this 3-month gap, the term ‘temporary acceptance' has now been introduced. The text to be included on these temporary acceptance certificates was also added to the documentation. During its period of temporary acceptance, a company is not allowed to use the GMP⁺ image and logo.

Finally, the conditions for assessment of products by certification bodies were adjusted.
