The Feed Materials Risk Assessment Database is to be found in the Login section and is accessible to all GMP+-certified companies.

Section 2 contains a list of products which have been accepted on the basis of the risk assessment for use as animal feed.

A sample of a generic risk assessment is to be found below: Coffee-skin-pellets.

No risk assessments have been submitted for all those feed materials which are not in section 2 of the DRV list. These are therefore (no longer) acceptable in the preparation of, or trade in, feed materials under the GMP+ Regulation.

A protocol with the criteria and procedure for placing products in the database is being drawn up in Appendix 2 of the GMP⁺-certification scheme 2006.

A proposal for the inclusion of a risk assessment in the database may be submitted to Product Board Animal Feed, preferably, by E-mail: drv@pdv.nl
