CVB distributes news via various newsletters, some containing general information and some with a scientific focus on livestock feed.

PDV Update
Information regarding CVB developments in general will be distributed via the general PDV newsletter, PDV Update. If you would like to keep up to date, click here to subscribe. To receive PDV Update no subscription contract for CVB products is required.

CVB Newsletter
CVB also distributes a newsletter with scientific knowledge and information on livestock animal nutrition to companies and institutes that have entered into a contract with CVB. Newsletters with information regarding chemical compositions and analysis methods are sent to all our relations, irrespective of the species of livestock animals in their contract.Newsletters with scientific information regarding nutritional aspects for a specific animal species are only sent to those CVB relations where the CVB knowledge for this animal species is included in the contract.

CVB Online Feeding Value Calculator  (19/03/2008)
Feeding value tables on paper provide static information. In practice, however, the composition of feed ingredients is variable. For the best possible inclusion of feed ingredients in compound feeds and rations, the feeding values must be matched to the composition of individual batches. The CVB Online Feeding Value Calculator, which has been available for a number of days, offers you this facility.

New feed evaluation systems for dairy cattle  (05/04/2007)
On 2 March 2007, the PDV held a well-attended (more than 120 participants) and animated information meeting in the WICC in Wageningen in which two CVB feed evaluation systems for dairy cattle were presented. These were an updated Feed Intake Model and a completely renewed Protein System.

Workshop ‘Net energy systems for growing and fattening pigs’  (07/02/2006)
This workshop is organized by INRA (France) and CVB (The Netherlands), according to an appointment made during a workshop on "Harmonization of feed evaluation systems", held on June 4th 2005 in connection with the 56th Annual Meeting of the European Association for Animal Production (EAAP) in Uppsala (Sweden).
