• The basic version provides the same parameters for the chemical composition and feeding value characteristics as the comprehensive species specific CVB Tables.
• The various plus versions 1 also include a number of intermediate values in the feeding value calculation. This provides an insight in the structure of feeding value characteristics and to what extent the various fractions contribute to the final value.
• The various plus versions 2 offer the possibility to calculate both the feed values of the CVB systems and of other (foreign) systems based on the average CVB compositions and the CVB digestion levels.

Availability
The online Feeding Value Calculator is available exclusively for companies and organisations with a subscription contract for PDV's CVB products. Depending on the nature of your contract, you are granted access to one particular species or all species of livestock animals. If the contract includes horses, you also have access to the feed value calculation for horses.
The basic version (available as of early October 2007) is included in the contract for a number of relation groups and is therefore available free of charge to these users.
Various plus versions will be developed in the (near) future. Plus version 1 will provide information regarding the intermediate values in the calculation of various feed values and the structure of these values. Availability of plus versions will be announced in the newsletters.
