The CVB Feed Table will continue to be published in addition to the species specific CVB Tables, although the content and publication method have been adjusted. The table is a combination of details published in separate, species specific tables. This means that the description of feed evaluation systems is more concised than in previous editions. No new issues of the publication ‘Manual Calculation Feed Value of Roughage' will be published in the future. Instead, the new CVB Feed Table will be extended to include product details on roughage (for ruminants and horses).

The section Update Feed Evaluation explains how individual feedstuffs will be evaluated in the future. We will adjust the availability of the CVB Feed Table accordingly. This means that it will be printed to order. At the time of ordering, CVB will print and deliver the most recent version available; no periodical updates of the CVB Feed Table will be published. The first CVB Feed Table published in this manner will be available begin 2008. Contrary to the existing system, this table will no longer contain any feed value data for horses. Instead, these will be included in the CVB Table Horses 2008.

Availability
The CVB Tables are available exclusively for companies and organisations with a subscription contract for PDV's CVB products for all species of livestock animals. If you are interested in the version including the data on horses, your subscription contract must include the modules on horses.
